Saratoga Casino and Raceway today unveiled an entirely new brand of accommodation called Saratoga Casino Hotel. The 117-room Hotel Expansion Weeks before the opening, the changes happen immediately, reflecting the casino’s transformation into a comprehensive, modern destination that offers something for everyone.

“The addition of amenities, including the hotel and Morton’s steakhouse, creates an unrivalled entertainment experience in the region,” said Rita Cox, senior vice president of marketing at the Saratoga Casino Hotel. “Our new brand is the product of this transformation, and we emphasize that Saratoga, already a world-famous tourist destination, is the perfect entertainment destination within Springs. Both first-time and repeat visitors will find new reasons and reasons to keep visiting for everything we have to offer.”

The $40 million, 123,000-square-foot hotel expansion will open this July. With 117 luxury rooms and suites, the hotel will be located just a few steps away from the casino floor and harness tracks. Amenities include Morton’s The Steak House, a lobby bar, a perks cafe, an indoor resort swimming pool with a spa whirlpool, an outdoor terrace, a fitness center, and a granular 3,000-square-foot ballroom for private events. The hotel’s luxury rooms and suites are named after Raceway’s founders, Roland Harriman, Dunbar Bostwick, and Ernest Morris, the longtime chairmen of Raceway. The suites feature large bay windows, and many customers overlook the harness track. Additionally, guests can watch and bet on live harness racing from all of the hotel’s rooms.

“We see the hotel as a natural next step for this building,” Cox said. “Racing began here 75 years ago, and we haven’t stopped growing and evolving since. Our new brand reflects our commitment to providing new amenities and entertainment opportunities to our guests, with racing always at the center of us.”

A full-fledged rebranding campaign for the casino is currently underway, including a redesigned website that will go live next week. Renovated TV commercials, radio commercials for the Saratoga Casino Hotel, and billboards will start appearing in the coming weeks.

More than 100 new jobs will be created as a direct result of the hotel’s expansion. A job fair will be held inside Vapor from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on May 16, which will provide more information about the newly created jobs. The seats will include banquet staff, chefs and wait staff at Morton’s Steak House, hotel front desk staff, and cabin crew. On-site interviews will be provided for prospective applicants.

Located on Crescent Avenue in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., the Saratoga Casino Hotel offers a variety of guest services, including more than 1,700 slots, two full-service restaurants with electronic table games, vapers, and buffets, a casual dining restaurant, three full-service bars, and a deli and valet parking and coat check.
