Governor Jack Markel signed a sports bet at an event at Delaware Park racetrack and casino. After officially approving the bill, the governor said he looks forward to working with three Lachinos in Delaware to make the sports lottery a success.

“There is tremendous interest in sports lottery in our region and across the country,” Markel said. “Our administration looks forward to working with Lachinos to market great facilities and make sports lottery as attractive as possible to our customers.”

The law not only legalized sports betting, but also opened the door to introducing table games “as soon as possible.” Delaware is the only state on the East Coast that banned sports gambling in 1992 federal law, so it is eager to open the door to actual gambling in Lacino and increase the state’s required income. This will go a long way toward filling a $600 million shortfall in the state’s budget expected next year. 슬롯사이트 순위

However, not everyone is happy with the new legalized sports betting. Both the NFL and the NCAA are taking action to protest the new laws. The NFL has filed a lawsuit with the Delaware Supreme Court alleging that the state has exceeded its sports betting limit. They argue that the state cannot say it is a sports lottery because a lottery requires skills for successful sports betting but relies solely on coincidences. The NCAA says it will not allow the University of Delaware to hold a playoff competition as long as sports betting is allowed.

Governor Markel has announced his intention to run sports events until the start of the professional football season. New York State is already in touch with suppliers to install betting systems at three racetracks. Ed Souter, CEO of Dover Downs, said sports betting stores will operate directly from the concurrent cast area until necessary renovations are completed, if necessary. Delaware Park CEO Bill Pash said there will be no remodeling or construction on the track, only training employees to make bets. Both executives said they plan to have table games ready by the end of the year unless it’s unexpected.
