A limited edition 12-wide folding screen commemorating the 1988 Seoul Olympics, a commemorative Olympic medal, and a badge from the 1992 Barcelona Olympics will be kept by the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Sports Association.

The provincial sports federation said on Friday that the items were donated by Jeong Sang-hoon, a member of the policy advisory committee of the Korean Sports Federation (KOF) and former adjunct professor of physical education at Wonkwang University. “I made the donation to contribute to the project to build a sports history memorial that the provincial sports federation is promoting,” he said, adding, “I will spread the word so that many sports collections can be donated.”

“We are deeply grateful to Commissioner Jung for his willingness to donate,” said Jeong Kang-sun, chairman of the provincial sports governing body, adding, “We will manage and preserve the history of Jeonbuk sports and pass it on to younger athletes.” Since last year, the provincial sports governing body has received more than 2,000 items from 스포츠토토존 Olympic gold medalists, senior athletes, and professional athletes.
