Players from the Hyundai Mobis Phoebus professional basketball team in Ulsan will change their number. The change was made to reflect the opinions of Park Moo-bin 23, 184.4cm and Miguel Okzon 23 years old, 182cm.

Having joined the KBL through the KBL rookie draft after graduating from Korea University, Park started his professional career with No. 8. He played court wearing No. 8 until his unofficial debut game on Sept. 27 last year, his regular league debut, and a game against Suwon KT Sonicboom in the fifth round on Feb. 14.

The reason why Park changed his uniform number was because “No. 8 is a number that has special significance to Ok-zone. I want to yield a meaningful uniform number to Ok-zone.” He added, “I chose No. 8 out of single digits because I had few options left after joining the club. I started wearing No. 3 since I was a middle school student. Whenever I wore a number other than No. 3, I suffered from injuries, both big and small.”

Park Moo-bin’s new number is 28. “Although it is not number three, I chose the remaining number. My father’s birthday is the 28th and it is a personally meaningful number,” he said. “I want to continue to contribute to the team without injury with a new number.”

Okzone changes its uniform number to 8, the preferred number from the previous 88 number. Okzone says, “This is the number I wore when I was in college. It is the uniform number of Kobe Bryant, my idol, and Peter June Simon, a Philippine basketball player, and my mother’s birthday is also on the 8th. I would like to thank Park Moo-bin for giving up his uniform number,” he said explaining the meaning of his uniform number 8. 토토사이트

Park Moo-bin and Ok Zone will play in a new uniform starting on February 28 Wednesday against Anyang Jeonggwanjang Red Boosters, their home game at Dongcheon Gymnasium in Ulsan.
