The NC Dinos of the KBO snapped the KIA Tigers’ winning streak.
NC won 7-4 against KIA in the 2024 Shinhan SolBank KBO League at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju on Friday.
NC (46 wins, 2 draws, and 46 losses), which snapped an eight-game losing streak against KIA and returned to a 5-for-5 winning percentage, moved from seventh to tied for fifth in the standings.

With one out, Socrates Brito singled to the right side of the infield to bring home Byun Woo-hyuk from third, but Lee Chang-jin flied out to right field with runners on first and second.
With a 7-4 lead, NC brought in closer Lee Yong-chan in the bottom of the ninth. Lee gave up a single to Kim Do-young and a walk to Na Sung-beom to put runners on first and second with no outs, but he retired the next three batters to earn his 16th save of the season.
