Felix Peña will continue to wear a Hanwha Eagles uniform next year.

Hanwha announced today that it has agreed to terms with Peña on a contract worth up to $1.05 million ($200,000 signing bonus, $650,000 annual base salary, $200,000 incentive). This will be Peña’s third season in a Hanwha uniform in the KBO.

Peña joined the organization in 2022 as an alternate foreign player, posting a 5-4 record in 13 games with a 3.72 ERA. This season, he went 11-11 with a 3.60 ERA in 32 games and 177⅓ innings pitched, tied for ninth in wins, 먹튀검증 tied for sixth in strikeouts, and tied for 14th in ERA with 147 strikeouts.

“His consistency in the starting rotation throughout the season is a strong point,” Hanwha said of Peña’s re-signing, “and he has made a positive impact on the team by getting along well with his teammates, such as teaching Moon Dong-ju the grip on his changeup, which is his main weapon.”

“I’m very happy to sign,” said Peña. I’m grateful to Hanwha for giving me the opportunity to play in Korea once again,” said Peña. “I hope to prepare well in the offseason so that I can be healthy next season and help the team reach the postseason.”

Hanwha had previously signed foreign hitter Jonathan Peraza. With the re-signing of Peña, the team is continuing to build its foreign roster.
