Stars Group today announced the success of its annual PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, which follows the first PokerStars Players Unlimited Holdum Championship, two major live poker tournaments sponsored by its flagship Poker brand.
The combined PCA and PSPC at Atlantis at Paradise Island Resort and Casino in the Bahamas awarded a total of $63 million in prize money over 11 days.
“The PCA and PSPC together set a new standard for this kind of live event,” said Rafi Ashkenazi, the CEO of The Stars Group. “These competitions have created many winning moments and interesting stories for our athletes and staff, especially Ramon Colillas, who has won more than $5 million in free admission. It’s a great start to the year.”
The PSPC took place from Jan. 6-10, and was the largest $25,000 purchase poker tournament in history with a total prize of $26.5 million, including a field of more than 1,000 players and $1 million in prize money for the top-ranked PokerStars.
Spanish poker player Ramon Colillas won $5.1 million in the No. 1 prize for the PSPC and was one of six millionaires created during the event. Colillas was one of 320 poker-star customers who received the PSPC Platinum Pass during 2018, qualifying to participate in the PSPC for free. 슬롯사이트 순위
