Goalkeeper Rasmus Højlund (Denmark), touted as the next Elling Holland, has joined English Premier League side Manchester United.

The Red Devils officially announced the signing of Højlund from Italian side Atalanta on Friday. The deal is for five years until 2028. A one-year extension is available.

The 20-year-old has scored 27 goals in 87 appearances since making his professional debut. He scored 10 goals for Atalanta last season. The Denmark international scored six goals in six games.

Speaking to the club, Høyrun said he was delighted to join. “I’ve been a United fan since I was very young,” he said, “and I’ve dreamed of walking out of Old Trafford as a United player.”

Hui Lun is looking forward to working with manager Eric ten Hagh. “I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with one of the best managers in the world,” he said. “With his guidance and support, I am sure I can achieve great things with my teammates.”

John Murtagh, Director of Football at United, said: “Hui Lun is a world-class technical and physical talent in his age group, and he and his coaches will help him develop. He will be given the time to fulfill his potential.” 파워볼게임
