Corey Seager Texas Rangers, the MVP of last year’s World Series, was put on the operating table.

The Associated Press reported on the 31st that “Cory Seager underwent sports hernia surgery.”

Seager, who had surgery in Arizona, the U.S., where his team’s spring training is taking place, will stay here and rehabilitate.

Most of the spring training that starts next month is likely to be missed. The Texas club hopes Seager will recover before the opening.

“I’m not going to promise a difficult schedule,” Texas general manager Chris Young said. “By the end of the camp, Seager hopes to resume baseball activities and regain his full form.”

Seager’s sports hernia came during the postseason last year.

Undaunted by this, however, Seager posted a batting average of 0.318, six homers, 12 RBIs and 18 runs in 17 post-season games last year, leading his team to the championship. He was named the MVP in the World Series alone for his outstanding performance with a batting average of 0.286 in five games, three homers, six RBIs and six runs scored. 사설토토

After embracing the winning ring, Seager rested enough and hoped his symptoms would improve, but he eventually chose surgery as pain continued in offseason training.
