CJ Logistics Racing has appointed former mechanic Jang Jun-soo as its new head coach for the 2024 season. CJ Logistics Racing announced on April 19 that it has selected Jang Jun-soo, who has worked as a mechanic and engineer for Nissan Motorsport International Racing Team and AtrasBX Motorsport Racing Team in Japan, as its new head coach for the 2024 season.

Jang began his career in motorsports as a mechanic in 2001 and moved into racing car development with Nissan Motorsport International Racing Team in Japan in 2008.In 2013, he took on the role of Chief Mechanic for AtrasBX Motorsports Racing Team, where he was responsible for stock car production, Genesis Coupe and test car operations, as well as being the dedicated engineer for driver Choi Jong-woo since 2016, and served as Team Principal for AtrasBX Racing Team in 2017 and 2018, winning the 2018 Superleague Super 6000 class team championship (driver 1st, 2nd and 3rd).
