Suwon FC unveiled the “Kim Eun-jung Division” to be with the new coach Kim Eun-jung in the 2024 season.
Suwon FC appointed head coach Kim Tae-min, goalkeeper coach Kim Ho-joon, field coach Lee Sang-don, field coach Yang Dong-hyun, physical coach Lee Geon-seong, and analyst Chae Bong-ju as the coaching staff of Suwon FC.
Head coach Kim Tae-min has been a professional player at Busan I’Park and Jeju United since 2001 and has gained experience as a player and leader on various Asian stages including China, Thailand and Vietnam. He assisted Park Hang-seo in the Vietnamese national soccer team and later was appointed as the head coach of the U-20 national team and joined Kim Eun-jung in the semi-finals of the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
GK coach Kim Ho-joon is a veteran goalkeeper who debuted at FC Seoul in 2005, played in Jeju and Gangwon provinces, and finished his career in Bucheon in 2022. Kim and Kim also played for FC Seoul and Jeju United.
Starting with Ulsan Hyundai in 2008, coach Lee Sang-don played for Suwon Samsung and Gangwon FC. He began his career as a coach in 2017 and joined Kim Eun-jung’s team at Suwon FC after serving as a coach at Pocheon Citizens’ Soccer Team and Hyundai High School.
Coach Yang Dong-hyun started his professional career at Ulsan Hyundai in 2005, played for Suwon FC in Busan and Pohang, and has been a player for Suwon FC since 2021. Since then, he has scored his 400th goal in the K-League and his 100th career goal in the K-League, becoming a K-League legend. He started his career as a playing coach for Suwon FC last year, and joined the team as an official coach this season.
Lee started his career as a coach in Brazil, gained domestic experience at Suwon FC and Gwangju FC, and is a member of Shinhwa’s semi-final team who has teamed up with Kim Eun-joong as a physical coach for the U-20 national team. He will work with Kim Eun-joong again at Suwon FC.
Chae Bong-ju is a veteran analyst who has been a power analyst since 2005, and has participated in many international competitions, including the Russia World Cup and the Qatar World Cup. Starting in 2022, Chae worked as a full-time analyst at the Korea Football Association and participated in the U-20 World Cup.
