Ronaldo is once again embroiled in a temper tantrum.
“Cristiano Ronaldo threw a ‘temper tantrum’ at an opposing cameraman after a cup match,” Portugal’s Cabin Desportiva reported on Monday (April 29).
After falling out with 온라인카지노 Manchester United in November last year, Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabian professional league Al Nasr in December for a hefty fee.
Since his move, Ronaldo has continued to show his goal-scoring prowess, scoring 14 goals in 19 official appearances. He has also cemented his place in the team by being named captain.
Ronaldo started the friendly match between Celta Vigo and Al Nasr on April 18. The match ended in a 0-5 defeat for Al Nasr.
After the game, Ronaldo told Portuguese media, “European soccer has lost a lot of quality. But the Premier League is the one league that is much better than all the others,” he said, adding, “The American league? No. The Saudi league is better than MLS. The Saudi Arabian league is better than the MLS,” and praised the quality of Saudi soccer.
The behavior was getting worse by the day. Ronaldo stirred up the controversy again on Sept. 29 during a friendly between Al Nasr and Al Shabab in the Arabian Champions Cup.
The match ended in a 0-0 draw with neither team scoring. Ronaldo, who came on as a substitute in the 27th minute, scored a goal that was called back for offside. The problem was the post-match temper tantrum.
“Ronaldo refused to let a cameraman film him on the sideline after the game. He told his opponent to put the camera away and sprayed him with water,” said Carabin Desportiva.
Ronaldo has been embroiled in personality controversies in the past for his nervous gestures towards match staff and children. In the end, he proved himself once again by spraying the cameraman with water.
